First degrease and clean the skin you are going to be working on with Grimas Cleansing Lotion. Then wipe dry with a tissue.

For ageing we use Crème Make-up Pure because this works out easily and has good fluidic properties.
When you are experienced in ageing you can also choose to apply a base of Cake Make-up and shade and lighten with Eyeshadow/Rouge on this.

For the dark skin a D-colour is used as base make-up because this does not grow gray. Work out the base on the ears and in the neck. Take the Crème Make-up Pure out with a clean spatula and work from the spatula. Apply it with a slightly damp latex sponge or make-up sponge onto the skin.

PROCEDURE

When you want to age a fair skin, you first shadow and than lighten. With a dark skin you start right away with lightening. You can often leave out the shadowing.

On the dark skin lightening is done with yellow because white gets gray. Apply the yellow make-up on the higher situated parts of the face. Depending on the desired effect and the situation (nearby, far off), you can apply stronger or less strong lines.

If necessary, blur the segments and lines that are to be faded with the fingers or a dry make-up sponge. You do this with a dabbing action, without wiping.
After the lightening you can if so desired accentuate the dark shadows with a very dark tint of brown. Let the lightening and shadowing blend with the base tint in a natural way. If necessary, blur the segments and lines that are to be faded with the fingers or a dry make-up sponge. You do this with a dabbing action, without wiping.

On dark skin you can best mattify and/or fix the make-up with Colour Powder. Grimas Colour Powder is a loose, slightly tinted, water-repellent powder in a range of colours. Colour Powder can be applied with a Grimas Velour Powder Puff, a Powder Puff or a Powder Rouge Brush. Gently tap the puff or brush on the back of the hand and then apply lightly on top of the make-up. Allow to settle in and remove the excess powder with the powder puff or brush.
