Attention: do not apply make-up directly after shaving. When the skin is shaved, it is damaged, making the skin easy to dry out and become irritated. The irritation can get worse when subsequently an aftershave product containing alcohol is used. The irritated skin can react sensitively to the make-up. You can prevent this by leaving several hours between the shaving and the application of make-up. You can apply a skincare cream like Under Make-up Base directly after shaving.
It is important to follow the instructions for removing the make-up, particularly if the make-up is being used several days in a row.
Grimas Latex Prosthetics are rubber noses, snouts, horns, ears and chins. Place the latex application on the skin to get an impression of whether the edges are a good fit and where it is going to be glued on. Apply Transparent Powder to where the edge merges into the skin to mark out the exact spot. Place the horns as close as possible to the natural hairline. Pack some cotton wool into the Latex Nose. This absorbs the perspiration.
Pre-colour the applications partially beforehand with the light-coloured Cake Make-up. Apply a little Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales/adhesive edge and allow it to dry for a few seconds. Do the following to get the correct degree of adhesion: press the latex prostetic lightly in place and then remove it again straight away. Wait a few seconds and reposition the application, pressing the edges in place with a tissue. Protect the eyes by closing them and covering them with a tissue. Can cause serious damage to the eyes.
Apply coarse lines with Cake Make-up, taking the technique of aging (highlighting/shadowing) to the extreme.
You apply Cake Make-up with a slightly damp make-up sponge. If you work with too much moisture, streaks will form. You can press the make-up sponge down onto a tissue to remove any excess moisture.
Take the make-up sponge between the fingertips and squeeze it together to create a round surface. With this surface the make-up can be applied.
